Five months

It was five months ago today that CA Governor Newsom ordered the shelter-in-place order for the state due to the threat of the COVID-19. As of this writing, 8:41 pm, California has lost 11,686 of its people to the disease. And it has the highest number of confirmed cases in the U.S. at just over 647,000. The U.S. leads the world in number of confirmed cases (5.7 million) and deaths (176,337). These numbers come from https://ncov2019.live. As I’ve written previously, Mom & I are still limiting our exposure to people, and while we do miss a few things, we are, for the most part, doing just fine with this shelter-in-place/quarantine life. But still. **Sigh**

My big update is my new show which debuts tomorrow. Here’s a little promo I put together for it:

I don’t know why I can’t upload the little :25 second animated graphic. If you’re around your computer tomorrow evening, tune in, please! I’m equally excited, nervous, and unsure, but I’m going to go for it! I also have three guests lined up for September. The best part for me will be getting to chat with these three people who I consider friends. Some I know better than others, and I’m really honored to be able to share all that they do with the inter webs 🙂 I’ll let you all know how it goes when I write next week.

By the way, have you noticed I’ve been writing every week? Funny how when I write it down as a task on my list, I’m way more compelled to do it. I love checking shit off my list! Until then!

I noticed that you are writing and I love it!

Also, the show is a cool premise. I’m sorry you had some technical difficulties, but it was still fun.
